Bring up to four subjects (dogs and kids welcome, sorry adults, the scene is too small for you!) for your 15-minute mini-session.

Immediately after your session, you will select three (3) favorite images to be professionally retouched and delivered to you via electronic download within ten (10) days of the event. Your image files can be printed up to 8x10 and will also include a web-resolution version for electronic sharing.

Epic Animal Rescue and The Ginger Man are hosting an EPIC Dog Costume Contest on Wednesday, October 28th at 6pm!

Enter your furry friend through The Ginger Man by emailing gm-lascolinas@thegingerman.com by 10/27 - we'll just need your pup's name, your phone number, and number of humans in your group to reserve a patio table!

Sign in by 6:30pm at the Epic Animal Rescue tent on the patio - we will take a polaroid photo of your pooch and place it next to a trick-or-treat pumpkin so voters know who they're voting for.

Vote with doggo treats by making donations to EPIC - $4 for one treat, $15 for five treats, and $20 for ten treats. Whoever gets the most treats in their pumpkin wins. All proceeds go directly to Epic Animal Rescue!

All votes must be in by 7:45 and the winner will be announced at 8pm

The winner gets a basket of new toys and each participant gets to take home their bucket of treats!

Calling all Chili lovers! Our first annual Charity Chili Cook-off sponsored by The GIngerman will be held on the Water Street Irving Green Space on Saturday, February 29th from 1 - 5pm.

The Ginger Man invites you to join us for a great day of charity, chili tasting, beer drinking, lawn games, dog adoptions, and live music.

In benefit of the pups, all entry, raffle, and auction proceeds will be donated to Epic Animal Rescue!

Saturday, October 26th join us with Epic Animal Rescue and Rahr & Sons Brewing Co. at The Ginger Man for a Howl-O-Ween spooktacular! Costume contest starts at 6:30pm!

There will be multiple categories for best Large Breed costume, Medium Breed costume, Small Breed costume, and Dog Parent/Fur Child couples' costume!
Win great prizes from local retailers and The Ginger Man!

Jimmy Lombardo will be performing live music from 7PM-10PM that evening, and there will be great food and drinks on special!

Epic will be on-site from 5-8pm with adoptable dogs, swag for sale, plus information on volunteering. Let us know if there's a particular dog you want to meet that evening!

Hop and Sting Brewing is celebrating the official start of Germany's Oktoberfest by hosting our very own Barktoberfest with our friends @ Epic Animal Rescue on Saturday September 21st!

From 11am to 7pm we're going to donate 50 cents to Epic for every draft beer ordered at the Brewery in our Taproom or Beer Garden! We'll have our newly released Local 3113 Oktoberfest and custom glass Beer Steins on hand to celebrate properly!

We'll have the legendary Vaqueros Texas Bar-B-Q out to provide you with the best Q in DFW!

Communities Foundation of Texas’ North Texas Giving Day is an 18-hour online giving event designed to empower every person to give back to their community by supporting local nonprofits and causes they care about in one easy-to-use platform.

The event helps build awareness and support for nonprofits like nothing else. In 2018, over $48 million was raised through more than 157,000 gifts benefiting 2,700 local nonprofits, bringing the ten-year total to over $240 million for our community. North Texas Giving Day is the largest community-wide giving event in the nation. 

Since its inception in 2009, this online event has transformed from an idea to help raise awareness of nonprofits, to a movement that has ignited a broad culture of community-wide giving. During North Texas Giving Day, everyone has the opportunity to be a philanthropist to build a stronger and more vibrant community.
